What will 2025 bring to the energy industry and how will that translate into priorities for the people risk agenda?

For the first time, multinational businesses with employees in the EU and the European Economic Area will need to quantify not just base pay and incentives, but also the value of pensions, other benefits, and perks to comply with the new EU Pay Transparency Directive.

The Directive provides a legal framework to strengthen the principle of equal pay for equal work between men and women; important legislation in driving equality in the workplace as well as boosting pay transparency for all. Under the Directive, the definition of pay extends beyond traditional base salary to encompass complementary or variable components of pay, including pensions and other benefits.

With rising healthcare costs affecting almost every business, it has never been more important to focus on prevention and early intervention in order to find sustainable ways to combat not only rising costs but evolving employee expectations.

As we enter 2025 our clients in HR and compensation are considering their priorities for the year ahead. It’s never been more important for employers to understand what their employees need and want from their workplace around compensation, working patterns and health & benefit provision. Ensuring you have the right benefits, services and interventions in place will lead to greater engagement, productivity and retention.

Join us to hear from our expert speakers discussing these key themes for the Energy industry in 2025.
