Philippe Burger joins Mercer as Organizational Transformation Leader, UK & Europe
Paris, February 15, 2024 – Mercer, a global consulting and investments leader and a business of Marsh McLennan, today announced the appointment of Philippe Burger as Organizational Transformation Leader, UK & Europe, Mercer, effective immediately. Mr. Burger is based in Paris and reports to Sébastian Karwautz, Transformation Leader, Mercer Europe.
In his role, Mr. Burger oversees a team of experts based throughout the UK and across Europe that are dedicated to supporting clients’ largest workforce transformation ambitions. His appointment comes at a time when business transformation, particularly in human capital, is a priority for companies and their executive committees as they look to navigate employees’ evolving needs.
Mr. Burger brings more than 30 years of experience in consulting, driving innovation, and growth in the areas of human resources, digitization, and organizational transformation. He was previously Deloitte’s Global Workforce Transformation Practice Leader, and Managing Partner, Human Capital Advisory, for 15 years. Prior to that, he led asset and liability investment strategy solutions at Calyon, a subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole. He started his career in 1996 at Willis Towers Watson in the Employee Benefits practice where he rose to Managing Partner.
