Safe + WellSM

MMC’s Total Worker Health® Initiative

Is your organization meeting your employees’ health needs?

To meet the healthcare needs of workers, employers need to start in one spot: The workplace. It is essential employers take a holistic view of employee health and safety in the workplace in order to help achieve positive health outcomes, and the Total Worker Health ® model provides a robust framework employers can use. Total Worker Health ® is defined as policies, programs and practices that integrate protection from work-related safety and health hazards with promotion of injury an illness-prevention efforts to advance worker well-being (NIOSH). However, this all begs the question – How do employers know if they are providing the best possible work environment for their employees?
