October 03, 2023
Starting Jan. 1, 2024, a Minnesota law will require all employers in the state to provide each eligible employee up to 48 hours of earned sick and safe time per year —  accrued at one hour for every 30 hours worked. The state’s Department of Labor and Industry will adopt administrative rules, enforce the law and provide a uniform employee notice.
