Internships for Undergraduates

Each of the business lines that recruits on campus also offers internship opportunities.  These internships seek students interested in joining Mercer as a full-time analyst in the respective line of business upon graduation.  Students should be on track to graduate in compliance with an analyst program’s specific eligibility criteria.

Mercer internships are typically available to students entering their junior or senior year, but some opportunities may also exist for rising sophomores. To be considered for an internship with Mercer, you must be a currently enrolled students of a bachelor’s or master’s degree program. Generally, qualification criteria include:

• Minimum 3.0/4.0 GPA
  
• Major in actuarial science, math, finance, statistics, economics, business, health policy or liberal arts
  
• Superior analytical and mathematical skills
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong oral and written communication skills
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
  
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
  
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Availability to work 10-12 weeks during the summer
