Emily Ferreira supports the Mercer Health & Benefits Survey Research team as a consultant liaison where she assists consultants nationwide with benchmark reports and other survey-related needs.  She works with the Survey Research team to develop and deploy in-depth benchmarking surveys and reports in the area of health care, health management and disability and absence for Mercer Health & Benefits.  

Emily has nearly 20 years of experience in the employee benefits industry, beginning as a consultant evaluating plan designs and processes for employers on their group health, disability, absence management and other employee benefit programs, before specializing in employee benefits research and survey development. She has also worked with insurance providers and third party administrators on product strategy and design.

Prior to joining Mercer, Emily worked for Willis as their National Practice Benchmarking & Survey Consultant.  Emily began her career working for a Boston-based employee benefits consulting firm specializing in group health and productivity and captive funding solutions. 

Emily received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University’s School of Management.
