What is blended learning?

Mercer’s blended learning approach combines traditional, real-time workshops and self-paced online modules. Blending live workshops and online learning methods boosts the effectiveness of your learning journey.
  • E-learning

allows participants to access a personalised exploration of the course at their own pace, reinforcing learning with components like interactive media, quizzes and exercises.
  • Our live workshops

offer immediate feedback and engagement and facilitate collaboration and group learning.

What are the benefits of blended learning?

  • The learning process can be better tailored to individuals’ needs.
  • Learning outcomes are amplified because you can apply the theory straight away.
  • Increased flexibility means you can learn in your own time, on any device.
  • Progress is easily tracked.
  • Knowledge is consolidated with a live and interactive workshop with our Mercer certified facilitators.

How does it work?

  • Part 1: E-learning

Approved participants get instant access to a self-paced exploration of the course through quizzes, tutorials and exercises. Once they have completed all modules, they are invited to enrol in a live online workshop.
  • Part 2: Live online workshop

Participants put their learning into practice in a three-hour virtual classroom facilitated by a Mercer workforce consultant. The workshop provides immediate feedback and greater understanding of the methodology.

Get your job evaluation journey started with Mercer’s blended learning method.

The blended learning journey

  • 1. Register for the course

Log-in details to access the e-learning platform will be sent to approved participants within 72 hours of registration.
  • 2. Complete the e-learning modules

Work through the self-paced course material. On average, we estimate each participant will complete five to 12 hours of self-directed learning before the final workshop. After completing e-learning, participants register for a live online workshop.
  • 3. Join the final live workshop

Consolidate and put your knowledge to the test with a Mercer certified facilitator and fellow learners.
  • 4. Get learning recognition

After completing e-learning and demonstrating understanding of the concepts in the final workshop, participants receive Mercer cerfitication.

All of our methodology programs can be customised for groups of eight or more participants.

Mercer Learning can:

Demonstrate your skills with Mercer Learning digital credentials

Digital credential
Our aim is to provide excellent learning outcomes for our clients whilst ensuring that our core methodologies are able to be implemented effectively by our learners in their workplaces. We want to provide learners with the opportunity to demonstrate their capabilities. That’s why some Mercer Learning Solutions job evaluation and job analysis methodology programs will provide learners with a digital badge to allow you to share your success and certification across your network. We work with Credly to provide you with a digital version of your credential which can be used in email signatures or digital resumes, and on social media sites such as LinkedIn. This digital image contains verified metadata that describes your qualifications and the process required to earn them.
