Déjà New – from hindsight to foresight
Recently the investment community came together in London to explore what we can learn from recent history and the key themes that are likely to shape markets and investment practices. Thank you to all who attended. We invite you to learn more about our upcoming global investment forum in Atlanta here.
We continue to live in uncertain times. The challenges we face are familiar and complex. They demand creativity and patience. It’s important to stay clear-eyed about the risks even as we embrace the opportunities. Most importantly, the solutions we need all require cooperation and a willingness to work together as an investment community.

Agenda

The Forum offers one and half days of main-stage sessions, dedicated content streams for different asset pools, keynote addresses, and networking time. Some of the topics that will be covered in the agenda include the latest themes and opportunities, sustainable investing, private markets, liquidity, diversification and more.

Meet the speakers

Meet our keynote speaker - Rt Hon Baroness Ruth Davidson
Ruth Davidson is a journalist, broadcaster, author, and politician. She served for eight years as leader of the Scottish Conservatives, during which time she transformed the party’s prospects, leading to its greatest electoral results in thirty- five years.

She also played a prominent role in both the Scottish independence and EU referendum campaigns, arguing her case in stadium television debates at the Glasgow Hydro and Wembley Arena.

As the first openly gay leader of a major political party in the UK, and the first party leader to give birth while in office, Ruth has broken barriers throughout her time in public life.

In addition to esteemed keynote speakers, each Forum features top thought leaders from within Mercer and the investment community and renowned consultants shaping the way we think. Other speaker names will be available soon.
