Saranne Brodrick is a senior financial services executive with more than 20 years’ experience leading strategy, corporate development, and transformation initiatives across complex organisations. As Chief Strategy Officer, she brings deep expertise in end-to-end corporate development, strategic portfolio reviews, growth planning, and enterprise-wide strategic execution.

Saranne has a strong track record of partnering with executive leadership teams and boards to identify growth opportunities, optimise business portfolios, and deliver sustainable long-term value. Her experience spans strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business transformation, operating model design, and commercial strategy within highly regulated financial services environments.

Known for combining analytical rigour with practical execution, Saranne is recognised for her ability to translate complex strategic priorities into clear, actionable outcomes. She is passionate about driving innovation, strengthening organisational capability, and helping businesses navigate periods of change and growth.

Before joining Mercer in April 2021 as Chief Strategy Officer, Saranne held senior roles across the financial services sector, including at ANZ, EY, Citibank, and Deloitte, where she was Director of M&A. Her broad experience across these leading organisations equips her with a comprehensive understanding of business transformation and growth. Passionate about community impact, Saranne is actively involved in small business mentoring programs.
