As Mercer Marsh Benefits Leader, Geoffrey oversees the strategy and operations of the Mercer Marsh Benefits business across the Pacific region, bringing together HR consulting, people risk advisory and benefits technology to deliver exceptional employee benefit experiences for clients. Working in a dual capacity, he is also Head of Placement for Mercer Marsh Benefits in Asia. Geoffrey is a member of the Marsh Risk Pacific Executive Committee, the Mercer Pacific Leadership team and the Mercer Marsh Benefits Global Executive team.

Geoffrey brings more than 25 years’ industry experience to Marsh, and has a strong record of building insurer relationships and placement solutions that enhance client outcomes. He is known for advancing industry best practice, driving innovation and strengthening client partnerships – capabilities that are central to accelerating Marsh’s impact across the Pacific. His combination of placement expertise, commercial insight and focus on disruptive benefits technology enables Marsh to deliver tailored, market-leading programs that meet clients’ evolving people and risk needs.

In his most recent role, Geoffrey served as Head of Placement for Mercer Marsh Benefits in Asia and the Pacific, leading placement activity across the region and working closely with insurers and clients to secure competitive and sustainable solutions. Prior to Marsh he held a number of executive roles with leading financial industry firms including Aon, MetLife and AIA.

Geoffrey shares his time between Asia and the Pacific. When he’s in Australia, he works in Melbourne on Wurundjeri land.
