Rhys is a Principal and leads Mercer’s Business Development activities in New Zealand. Prior to joining Mercer in October 2013, Rhys had 18 years of business development experience in the Information Technology and Professional Services industries.

Prior to Mercer, Rhys worked at Ernst & Young in London as the UK & Ireland Corporate Finance Business Development Leader and a Global Client Services Director. Rhys was responsible for new channel development, business development improvement programmes in addition to managing regional and global account teams for strategic global clients such as General Electric and WPP.

Rhys holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Philosophy) from Victoria University, a Bachelor of Property from Auckland University and an MSc (Property Investment) from City University, London.
