Catherine Pollock oversees the partnerships and business development strategy for Marsh People and Investments, New Zealand’s wealth management and advisory market. One of her key responsibilities is to help strengthen our connection with clients and partners across New Zealand and the Pacific.

With a corporate career spanning more than 20 years, Catherine brings extensive experience in retail and institutional sales, market education and investor relations, and has a strong track record of building growth and market presence in financial services. She also brings a deep understanding of how to develop commercial relationships, support client engagement and translate complex investment ideas into practical market opportunities.

Catherine joined Marsh (formerly Mercer) from Smartshares, where she was General Manager of Business Development and Distribution, and previously spent more than 14 years in London with 36 South Capital Advisors, a long volatility hedge fund, where she was Head of Sales. Her earlier career also includes roles with GLG Partners and Macquarie Group.

Catherine is based in Auckland/Tāmaki Makaurau.
