A foundation for success
William M. Mercer, Ltd., begins in Canada and grows to become a premier provider of actuarial and benefits consulting services.
1959
Growing stronger, together
Mercer joins Marsh McLennan to strengthen their shared purpose: putting clients’ needs first.
1995
Applying data with a human touch
Mercer begins applying data analytics and modelling to refine employer approaches to hiring, promoting and compensating their most vital assets — their people.
2006
Pioneering responsible investing
As a trailblazer in investing practices, Mercer is called upon by the United Nations to help develop its Principles for Responsible Investment.
