This is a really critical topic for many of us today as we begin to face the prospect of increasing inflation, concerns about recession and a tight Labor market. The need to focus on the employee experience and ensure that the jobs that we have today are attractive for the current talent that we have and the future talent we need.

Interesting moments from the interview:

  • Give people time back

"We need to be ahead of the curve. Just performing services the way we do today will not lead to the same level of satisfaction in the future because people will have different expectations. And there's also a big opportunity for the business side because we can give people time back to focus on their job."
  •  Remove complexity

"HR is always going to be a complex organization, but I do not believe that there is any need to give that complexity that we have within the organization to the employee. So we need to find a new setup that takes all the complexity away from the employee."
  • Tailor jobs to the market

"What we're going to see is a strong competition in business on different models and how they're going to evolve jobs. So it's not as much going to be around salary and benefits, but really creating jobs that that fit to the marketplace. And I really believe that there is going to be a strong competition to be most effective, but also to get access to the biggest talents and recognizing the individual needs of the employees and people in the labor market."
