Hong Kong’s first Healthiest Workplace Awards are open to all employers operating within Hong Kong and will be announced at our first awards ceremony on April 2nd 2025. The program is aimed to award employers who provide the healthiest working environment and employee wellness benefits/support for the purpose of improving the workforce’s overall health and wellbeing. 

The program is also dedicated to promoting effective & innovative health & well-being practices, spreading outstanding health management methodologies to more organizations and to help build more awareness and engagement in the importance of employee well-being.   

Award categories

Companies leading in the total score of the employer health & wellbeing strategy/business case and employee health risks assessment (HRA). Companies must also demonstrate they have a clear structured data diagnostic driven health & wellbeing program, as well as incorporating innovative, market-leading and effective health management best practice.

Companies who have understood their employees’ health risks/behaviors and have implemented a health management care pathway or mental wellbeing program, as well as demonstrating exemplary and effective management best practices. 

Companies with an outstanding regional or top-down strategy and implemented into more than 1 country or different subsidiaries in Hong Kong, as well as incorporating innovative, market-leading and effective health management best practice.

Assessment approach

  • Each business case will be assessed according to the metrics below.
  • The assessment is based on qualitative and quantitative measures and subject to the consensus reached by the judging panel, through the evaluation process.

There is no cost associated with entering the awards, receiving the awards and attending the event associated with the MMB Healthiest Workplace Awards.

Yes, the Health Risk Assessment is optional.

The Healthiest Workplace Award goes through a two-stage evaluation process.

  • All nominations will receive a certificate of participation.
  • At the first stage, MMB Hong Kong Wellness team will select the finalists
  • At the second stage, the panel of judges will review the finalist’s business case submissions.
  • The finalists will need to complete a presentation talking through the business case and alignment of the workforce health risk to the case.
  • The winners will be announced in April at the launch of the Mercer Marsh Benefits Health on Demand Thought Leadership event.
