In the 8th edition of the study, Mercer Marsh Benefits includes a new segment on the ‘local plus program’, showcasing how organizations can effectively put together a hybrid of local and international medical benefits to meet the needs for their employees. With the surge in demand and interest in this program, we continuously provide trends in insurance benefit design, including but not limited to prevalence and benefit limit offered, highlighting the differentiators offered by participating companies in order to enhance their value proposition.
In addition, with the rise in employees’ well-being, we have incorporated survey findings on mental as well as financial well-being and wellness programs in the report. To ensure employees are covered holistically, MMB provides advice to companies to move beyond traditional brick-and-mortar support models to adopt a digital approach.
