The French company is a market-leading Workday implementer and advisory firm

Paris and London

Mercer, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth and career, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies (NYSE: MMC), has announced the acquisition of everBe, a market-leading French Workday implementer and advisory firm that specialises in cloud technologies.

Through the acquisition of everBe, Mercer reinforces its position as a key player in the area of digital transformation of HR and finance functions and better support clients and their people. The deal also strengthens Mercer Digital’s existing portfolio of digital expertise and technological partnerships, which in addition to Workday includes brands such as Thomsons Online Benefits (Darwin), Mercer | Sirota, ServiceNow and Promerit | Realright.

"Number one in deployment of Workday solutions in France, everBe is a growing company with an exceptional pool of talent,” said Jean-Pierre Wiedmer, CEO of Mercer France. “Digital transformation in HR and Finance departments is a key strategic issue for our clients. However, our latest studies show that too few consider themselves as digital organisations and that less than half of their employees have digital interactions with the HR department.”

“The combination of Mercer and everBe reinforces the value proposition of our people + technology offering and will give our clients the support they need to embark on their digital transformations. We are delighted to be able to offer global advice in this area and help companies fulfill their transformation and innovation strategies.”

"We are proud to be joining Mercer and to further expand the development of digital solutions, said Jean Manaud, Founder and Chairman of everBe. “This merger will allow us to build on a strong foundation and accelerate our growth in France and across Europe. Mercer has a rich and diversified client portfolio, so it will offer us new market share, particularly in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. This combination also represents a great opportunity to develop our people’s careers."
