  • Anne Lise Kjaer

    Anne Lise Kjaer


    Futurist Anne Lise Kjaer holds the honorary title of Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador, and in 2018 she was appointed to the IPE (International Panels of Experts) for Singapore’s Urban Development Authority. An entrepreneur, she founded the Trend Management agency Kjaer Global in 1988. Clients include Amazon, BBC, Dell, E&Y, Generali, Huawei, IKEA, KPMG, Oracle, RBS, Salesforce, Swiss Life, Visa, Volvo, EU, OECD, Wired. 

    Anne Lise is a regular media commentator on trends and has featured on Aljazeera, BBC, CNN, DR, and TRT, as well as contributing to academic papers and publications. In 2015 she was one of seven top futurists the Huffington Post featured with their predictions for the next decade in technology. In 2020 Kjaer contributed to After Shock: The World’s Foremost Futurists Reflect on 50 Years of Future Shock – and Look Ahead to the Next 50.


    While Kjaer Global is an internationally-recognised brand, so is Anne Lise – having built a reputation as a renowned TED speaker and author of The Trend Management Toolkit – A Practical Guide to the Future. She presents regularly at international conferences and lectures at Cambridge, Esade, HEC, LSE and MIT.

    Stephanie Boyde is the EVP Performance and Reward since September 2013, responsible for all aspects of reward and performance management for the Shell group. She is based in Corporate Headquarters in The Hague. 


    Stephanie was previously based in Houston overseeing Policy, Benefits and HR Services for the US businesses. Prior to this, she led the executive compensation and international mobility practices for Shell.


    Stephanie joined Shell in 2003.  Prior to this, she was head of reward with Barclays, and was also self-employed and an executive compensation consultant with Towers Perrin.

She designed HR products and award-winning mobile apps, driving capability development agenda for enterprise-wide digital transformation, shifting a multi-generational workforce to become digitally savvy.


    In her current role, Abhi is building a unique and differentiated learning culture at Experian - that enables and inspires colleagues on their shared mission of financial inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked. As a design thinking practitioner, she is excited about future of work and in creating elevated employee experiences which enable colleagues to grow into their unique best selves.

    Mrs. Heather Frank, Sr. Advisor, Regional HR Lead Integrations has worked in the HR field under progressing roles for over 14 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Employee and Labor Relations from Penn State University.


    During her HR career Mrs. Frank has held various HR roles where she has implemented and created HR policies and procedures, participated in all aspects of M&A integrations, conducted Employee Relations investigations, managed Labor relations relationships including leading US Union negotiations and most recently lead the US integrations and Global Time and Absence implementation for the Elanco acquisition of Bayer Animal Health. Mrs. Frank also serves as her local SHRM Chapter president and is SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified.

    With more than 20 years in the Financial Services industry, Linda leads the Future Of Work (FoW) practice in DBS. As the FoW program director, her mission is to evolve DBS into the best workplace for all employees – continuously transforming DBS’ functional capabilities, policies, and mindsets to enrich working lives. “Achieve More Frustrate Less” is the motto behind her team’s passion to make DBS a better workplace.


    Linda’s journey with DBS began with the Consumer Banking Group, where she managed and transformed customer experiences in branch banking and specific products like mortgages and insurance. Through her visionary leadership, DBS’ branch operating model was digitalized and redesigned to enhance both customer and employee experiences. Employee engagement score achieved 98 percentile under her leadership.


    As DBS emerges as the Best Bank In the World (source: Global Finance) during the Covid 19 crisis, Linda is charting the way forward for DBS to continue leading in the “new normal.

Prior to joining BRUSH, Christian worked for Crown Packaging & most recently Esterline Technologies (Aerospace) in various Senior International HR positions. Christian trained as a lawyer at Paris University of Pantheon-Assas. He is based in the UK and is a French and British citizen.

    Kate Bravery is a Partner and the Global Advisory Solutions & Insight Leader for Mercer’s Career business.  She has more than 20 years of experience in human capital consulting and helping organizations achieve a talent advantage through people. 


    Kate has expertise in people strategy, talent management, assessment/leadership development and HR process design.  She has held office and market leadership positions in multiple countries.  Prior to her current role, she was the growth market regional practice leader for the talent strategy business.


    Kate is a chartered organizational psychologist.  She has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Psychology from City University of London in the United Kingdom, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Australia. Kate has two young children and lives with her family in UK.

    Godelieve van Dooren

    Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific


    A Partner in the firm, Godelieve van Dooren is Mercer’s Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific, focusing on High Tech and Consumer Goods / Retail as well as Mercer’s Benefits Products & Services.


    She leads several industry forums comprising of leading High Tech, e-commerce/Internet, FMCG and Retail companies and serves as the regional account manager for large Consumer Goods and High Tech accounts across MMC. Godelieve also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives for Mercer in the ASEAN countries and supports organizations in implementing D&I policies in the region.


    In her previous roles at Mercer, she has led Mercer’s insights and products business across 8 countries in ASEAN, and also served as the Mercer Malaysia country manager. She was also responsible for starting Mercer’s Asia Pacific Employee Benefits product line and for expanding Mercer’s benefits surveys and related benchmarking and benefits valuation consulting across the region. 


    Before joining Mercer in 2007, Godelieve worked as a senior consultant with a leading consulting firm in the Netherlands, specializing in benefits design and consulting. She has led many projects for multinational companies on HR issues concerning human resource strategies, performance management and development of reward schemes focusing on (flexible) benefits plans. 


    Godelieve holds a MA in Law from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.

    Ale is a Principal in the M&A practice who has more than 13 years of professional experience, 8 of which have been in the consulting space related to different topics such as HR transformation, integrations, separations, synergy analysis, due diligence, carve out analysis, organizational structuring, joint ventures and change management.


    Before joining Mercer, he worked at PwC as the HR M&A Leader for Mexico and Latin America as well as for the London Consulting Group and Grupo Vitro in different HR areas such as payroll, human development, training, Organizational Development and the SAP implementation.


    Ale graduated with a degree in engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, and has an International MBA with Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA) in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds holistic psychotherapy and meditation certificates and Coaching with Eneagram.

She has great communication skills and is very experienced in leading projects on a global level. Beneath, moderating workshops by using innovative methods like Design Thinking and Scrum is one of her USPs.


    Luzia has profound knowledge in a variety of HR topics such as HR Strategy, Talent Attraction & Acquisition and Diagnostics. Before she joined Mercer | Promerit, she worked almost 6 years as a headhunter in an HR agency and was responsible for Executive Recruiting, Management- and Organizational Diagnostics as well as Coaching.     Kate is a senior principal at Mercer and the firm’s Global Mobility Practice Leader for the UK and Ireland. Kate has worked in professional services organisations for more than 19 years, supporting multinational clients in managing their internationally mobile workforces. Kate has advised clients with operations worldwide and across a variety of industries, including technology, mining, FMCG, life sciences, E&C and professional services. 


    Kate has worked with multinational clients on aligning talent with global mobility strategy, developing and implementing mobility programmes, and designing expatriate compensation structures, including living wage methodology. Her projects have run the gamut from stakeholder engagement to global mobility function redesign and outsourcing to technology implementation. 


    Kate also designed and delivers Mercer Learning’s Global Mobility training courses for specialists at the advisor, manager and senior manager/director levels. 


    She holds a Bachelor of Arts (with honours) in history and English literature from the University of Melbourne in Australia and a graduate diploma in human resource management and industrial relations from RMIT University, also in Melbourne. Kate has lived and worked in Australia, Ireland and the UK.

    Gordon is a partner and Leader of Mercer’s Career business in Canada, where he is a member of the Mercer Canada Leadership Team.


    Gordon consults across many aspects of the Career business and has extensive experience advising boards of directors and senior management on the design of total rewards and talent management programmes that align and engage people and teams to achieve superior business results.


    Gordon first joined Mercer in 2000 and has been based in both Canada and the US. His consulting experience covers a broad spectrum of industries, with clients ranging from pre-IPO start-ups to global Fortune 100 companies. He also spent more than two years as the Vice President of Global Compensation for a Canadian multinational organisation before rejoining Mercer in his present leadership role in 2013.


    Gordon holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario in Canada and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (with great distinction) from McGill University in Montreal.

    Lewis is a partner and Career Business Leader for Mercer Singapore. Voted a Top 101 Global Employee Engagement Influencer, he is a regular contributor to publications such as the Harvard Business Review and Talent Quarterly and a speaker in the areas of people science, HR data, employee engagement and leadership. 


    In his commercial work, Lewis leads a team of social scientists, engineers and consultants to help clients and customers implement data-driven talent, leadership and employee engagement programmes to improve organisational performance. 


    Lewis has supported the development of several organisation and HR capabilities programmes, including a leading role in the development of the national HR Skills Framework in Singapore. He has deep expertise in making HR programmes relevant for C-level executives in global companies as well as facilitating senior leadership teams to help them unlock leadership effectiveness.


    Lewis is chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as an Occupational Psychologist. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in the UK with an Master of Science in occupational psychology and a Bachelor of Science (with first-class honours) in psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Lewis is also qualified by the British Psychological Society to use both ability tests and personality questionnaires to assess talent.

    With 10 years of background in Organizational Development, knowing the various HR subsystems and conducting trainings and workshops for HR leaders and teams, focusing on the development and training of engagement management, action plans, performance management and competencies.

    Patrick is a Principal based in Frankfurt. He leads the industries and networking team in Mercers European Career business servicing clients by combining industry specific services and research with networking activities. He is also responsible for Mercer | Comptryx in the region and leads the High Tech sector for Mercer in Europe.


    Patrick is focused on data backed decision making helping HR and the business to leverage workforce metrics data to discuss their impact on labor cost, location strategies, demographic profile and hiring/turnover trends. Furthermore he is passionate about how companies attract and reward scarce digital talent. 


    Patrick holds a master degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Prior joining Mercer in June 2015 Patrick held various roles in other HR consultancies. During his 15 years in HR consulting Patrick has performed a wide range of work in the area of rewards.

    Ulrike Hellenkamp

    Global Mobility Practice Leader, Central Europe


    Ulrike is a partner at Mercer and the firm‘s Global Mobility Practice Lead for Central Europe. She joined Mercer in 2013. Ulrike advises multinational clients across various industries on global mobility topics, such as the review and design of mobility policies and processes, mobility technology solutions, and expatriate data. Ulrike is based in Hamburg.


    With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ulrike is a seasoned global mobility expert and has worked as a consultant in professional services organisations (Big4) and in global mobility roles in multinational corporations (FMCG, pharma and real estate). Her consultancy focuses on both expatriate compensation design and global mobility policies.


    Ulrike has worked with multinational clients to deliver projects in the areas of global mobility program design, policy segmentation, process analysis tools, benchmarking and technology implementation.

    Chris is a senior partner at Mercer providing workforce and HR transformation services to leading clients in all markets.


    With close to 30 years of consulting experience, Chris has worked with major organisations in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. He has extensive experience advising on delivering business performance improvement through organisational change enabled by aligned people management programmes and effective leadership and management.


    Chris’s consulting experience covers a broad range of industries, including government, financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, transportation, telecommunication and utilities. His private-sector clients are typically Global 500 companies.


    Prior to joining Mercer in 2008, Chris was responsible for workforce reform, employee relations and reward for 500,000 employees in the UK Civil Service, where we worked closely with ministers, senior officials, trade unions and leaders from other parts of the public sector.

    Bill Johnston is the Mercer Indonesia President and Country Corporate Officer for Marsh & McLennan Indonesia. He has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services & Consulting Industries. Bill has lived in Asia for the last 18 years, where he has held various senior level positions including CEO, Director in Consulting, and CDO.


    Bill is a strong customer centric business leader with a proven track record in driving revenue, profits and value. He knows the Indonesian market, has lived in Indonesia for 8 years, speaks Bahasa Indonesia and has proven success in stabilizing and growing local businesses. In addition to developing and implementing future focused organization designs and people strategies, he has developed innovative health and wealth Solutions.


    He is known for building sustainable businesses that transcend leadership changes. He also has experience in M&A from due diligence to deal completion to integration. Bill's experience cuts across many sectors with focus in financial services, energy and natural resources, technology, retail and high net worth segments.

  • Shintaro Kitano

    Senior Principal, Global Client Manager and Leader of MCS Health/Wealth, Tokyo


    Shintaro has led many projects, ranging from actuarial valuation, plan design, M&A due diligence and post-merger integrations and communication strategy support as well as financial wellness. He is also a frequent speaker at external seminars, as well as writing articles to professional publications. 


    Shintaro has also lead to develop and market global pension solution while at Wealth consulting business in Japan, providing support to Japanese multinationals to execute better governance of their balance sheet pension risks.


    Prior to joining Mercer in 2007, Shintaro worked at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) in the UK, where he was involved in various valuations, ALM and plan design projects.


    He graduated from the Imperial College, London with an MSci in mathematics. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. 

  • Catherine Li

    Catherine Li

    CEO China


    Based in Beijing, Catherine Li is the CEO for Mercer China and CCO for MMC China. 


    In her 18 years with Mercer, Catherine has taken various leadership positions in managing health, retirement, investment, and HR consulting businesses. In addition, she has vast experience in consulting for large corporate clients in both US and China, especially in the financial and insurance industries.


    Prior to joining Mercer, Catherine worked as a consultant for a health insurance company in US, and as a finance manager with a large SOE in Beijing.


    Catherine received a MBA and a MPH (Master in Public Health) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, a MA in marketing and a BA in accounting from Beijing Technology & Business University.

  • Vincci Loo

    Vincci Loo

    Senior People Science Specialist 


    Vincci is a market lead for Mercer’s People Science consulting practice in the Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, she is responsible for driving new solutions to business problems and supporting the development of HR programmes in the region. 


    Since joining Mercer, Vincci has led and managed employee experience programmes for a number of large multinational companies in the hospitality, energy, manufacturing and telecommunications industries. She has broad exposure to a variety of human capital work, including talent assessment, compensation and rewards, organisation culture, onboarding and exit, and leadership development. Vincci brings a significant range of analytical skills and has a strong understanding of social science research and solution design. Her ability to draw insights from real data has helped organisation leaders prioritise key business issues and performance gaps. 


    Vincci holds a Bachelor of Science (with honours) in psychology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is also a Hogan Assessment-certified coach who specialises in assessing workplace personality for talent and performance prediction.

    Executive Remuneration Lead, ASEAN


    Nishant Mahajan leads Mercer’s Executive Remuneration Practice in ASEAN and he is also the leader for Growth Markets of Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Brunei. Additionally, he sits on the Remuneration Committee of Suntory Pepsico Vietnam.


    Nishant has over 16 years of people strategy and remuneration consulting experience and is primarily responsible for helping ASEAN based companies, both publicly and privately owned,  get the maximum return on their people and compensation spend. As part of his portfolio of clients, he has advised a large conglomerate undergoing digital transformation on redesigning pay programmes to support and drive the change, as well as a leading telecommunication company looking to incentivize its key personnel to maximize value leading up to an IPO.


    Nishant regularly publishes thought leadership papers and blogs on areas including executive pay, performance management and pay equality. He also works with the Singapore Institute of Directors as a member of the Board Diversity & Appointments Committee as well as a professional development adviser, developing and running programmes aimed at training Board Directors on effectively executing their Remuneration and Nominating Committee responsibilities.


    Prior to joining Mercer Nishant held senior executive and reward advisory roles in London with leading consulting firms, serving Boards and Remuneration Committees for UK and EU mid-market clients. He also led the international TMT sector verticals and has advised multiple organisations from start-up to growth phases on issues relating to pay and incentives, including transaction and IPO advisory work.


    Nishant holds an  M.B.A. from the  University of Hull, United Kingdom.

    Jean is presently Mercer’s Global Product Leader for GBS & Career (Talent Management). In this position, she is responsible for the success of all products and product innovation within Mercer.


    Jean serves as the face of the Talent Value Proposition, representing the Corporate Executive Board (CEB)’s “Talent Management story” at all industry and trade shows, public relations, and authorship opportunities. 


    Prior to joining Mercer, Jean worked for Gartner and CEB, where she spent 22 years building businesses focused on innovations in HR skills, process and technology. She also has an advanced background in analytics, econometrics and machine learning and is applying those actively to
