  • Anne Lise Kjaer

    Anne Lise Kjaer


    Futurist Anne Lise Kjaer holds the honorary title of Copenhagen Goodwill Ambassador, and in 2018 she was appointed to the IPE (International Panels of Experts) for Singapore’s Urban Development Authority. An entrepreneur, she founded the Trend Management agency Kjaer Global in 1988. Clients include Amazon, BBC, Dell, E&Y, Generali, Huawei, IKEA, KPMG, Oracle, RBS, Salesforce, Swiss Life, Visa, Volvo, EU, OECD, Wired. 

    Anne Lise is a regular media commentator on trends and has featured on Aljazeera, BBC, CNN, DR, and TRT, as well as contributing to academic papers and publications. In 2015 she was one of seven top futurists the Huffington Post featured with their predictions for the next decade in technology. In 2020 Kjaer contributed to After Shock: The World’s Foremost Futurists Reflect on 50 Years of Future Shock – and Look Ahead to the Next 50.


    While Kjaer Global is an internationally-recognised brand, so is Anne Lise – having built a reputation as a renowned TED speaker and author of The Trend Management Toolkit – A Practical Guide to the Future. She presents regularly at international conferences and lectures at Cambridge, Esade, HEC, LSE and MIT.

His passion and expertise lies with understanding the relationships between culture, behaviour, technology, organisational processes and the creation and use of physical environments – in particular places for work, innovation and learning.


    Peter’s current areas of thought leadership are: Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality (how they will impact the way corporations operate; how people work; and the environments that they work in) and bringing sanity and substance to predicting the future of workplaces post Covid 19.

    Stephanie Boyde is the EVP Performance and Reward since September 2013, responsible for all aspects of reward and performance management for the Shell group. She is based in Corporate Headquarters in The Hague. 


    Stephanie was previously based in Houston overseeing Policy, Benefits and HR Services for the US businesses. Prior to this, she led the executive compensation and international mobility practices for Shell.


    Stephanie joined Shell in 2003.  Prior to this, she was head of reward with Barclays, and was also self-employed and an executive compensation consultant with Towers Perrin.

She designed HR products and award-winning mobile apps, driving capability development agenda for enterprise-wide digital transformation, shifting a multi-generational workforce to become digitally savvy.


    In her current role, Abhi is building a unique and differentiated learning culture at Experian - that enables and inspires colleagues on their shared mission of financial inclusion for the unbanked and underbanked. As a design thinking practitioner, she is excited about future of work and in creating elevated employee experiences which enable colleagues to grow into their unique best selves.

    Mrs. Heather Frank, Sr. Advisor, Regional HR Lead Integrations has worked in the HR field under progressing roles for over 14 years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resources with an emphasis in Employee and Labor Relations from Penn State University.


    During her HR career Mrs. Frank has held various HR roles where she has implemented and created HR policies and procedures, participated in all aspects of M&A integrations, conducted Employee Relations investigations, managed Labor relations relationships including leading US Union negotiations and most recently lead the US integrations and Global Time and Absence implementation for the Elanco acquisition of Bayer Animal Health. Mrs. Frank also serves as her local SHRM Chapter president and is SHRM-SCP and SPHR certified.

    With more than 20 years in the Financial Services industry, Linda leads the Future Of Work (FoW) practice in DBS. As the FoW program director, her mission is to evolve DBS into the best workplace for all employees – continuously transforming DBS’ functional capabilities, policies, and mindsets to enrich working lives. “Achieve More Frustrate Less” is the motto behind her team’s passion to make DBS a better workplace.


    Linda’s journey with DBS began with the Consumer Banking Group, where she managed and transformed customer experiences in branch banking and specific products like mortgages and insurance. Through her visionary leadership, DBS’ branch operating model was digitalized and redesigned to enhance both customer and employee experiences. Employee engagement score achieved 98 percentile under her leadership.


    As DBS emerges as the Best Bank In the World (source: Global Finance) during the Covid 19 crisis, Linda is charting the way forward for DBS to continue leading in the “new normal.

Prior to joining BRUSH, Christian worked for Crown Packaging & most recently Esterline Technologies (Aerospace) in various Senior International HR positions. Christian trained as a lawyer at Paris University of Pantheon-Assas. He is based in the UK and is a French and British citizen.

    In her role as multinational client group leader, Liana’s focus is on growing Mercer’s international consulting practice in Asia with a focus on portfolio growth, operational and commercial excellence, talent investment and risk management.

    She is a graduate of Sociology and Executive Development at IAE Business School, Argentina.

    Kate has expertise in people strategy, talent management, assessment/leadership development and HR process design.  She has held office and market leadership positions in multiple countries.  Prior to her current role, she was the growth market regional practice leader for the talent strategy business.


    Kate is a chartered organizational psychologist.  She has a Master’s Degree in Occupational Psychology from City University of London in the United Kingdom, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Australia. Kate has two young children and lives with her family in UK.

    Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific


    A Partner in the firm, Godelieve van Dooren is Mercer’s Regional Industry Leader for Asia-Pacific, focusing on High Tech and Consumer Goods / Retail as well as Mercer’s Benefits Products & Services.


    She leads several industry forums comprising of leading High Tech, e-commerce/Internet, FMCG and Retail companies and serves as the regional account manager for large Consumer Goods and High Tech accounts across MMC. Godelieve also leads Diversity & Inclusion initiatives for Mercer in the ASEAN countries and supports organizations in implementing D&I policies in the region.


    In her previous roles at Mercer, she has led Mercer’s insights and products business across 8 countries in ASEAN, and also served as the Mercer Malaysia country manager. She was also responsible for starting Mercer’s Asia Pacific Employee Benefits product line and for expanding Mercer’s benefits surveys and related benchmarking and benefits valuation consulting across the region. 


    Before joining Mercer in 2007, Godelieve worked as a senior consultant with a leading consulting firm in the Netherlands, specializing in benefits design and consulting. She has led many projects for multinational companies on HR issues concerning human resource strategies, performance management and development of reward schemes focusing on (flexible) benefits plans. 


    Godelieve holds a MA in Law from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands.

    Ale is a Principal in the M&A practice who has more than 13 years of professional experience, 8 of which have been in the consulting space related to different topics such as HR transformation, integrations, separations, synergy analysis, due diligence, carve out analysis, organizational structuring, joint ventures and change management.


    Before joining Mercer, he worked at PwC as the HR M&A Leader for Mexico and Latin America as well as for the London Consulting Group and Grupo Vitro in different HR areas such as payroll, human development, training, Organizational Development and the SAP implementation.


    Ale graduated with a degree in engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana, and has an International MBA with Escuela de Alta Dirección y Administración (EADA) in Barcelona, Spain. He also holds holistic psychotherapy and meditation certificates and Coaching with Eneagram.

    Luzia has profound knowledge in a variety of HR topics such as HR Strategy, Talent Attraction & Acquisition and Diagnostics. Before she joined Mercer | Promerit, she worked almost 6 years as a headhunter in an HR agency and was responsible for Executive Recruiting, Management- and Organizational Diagnostics as well as Coaching.     Kate is a senior principal at Mercer and the firm’s Global Mobility Practice Leader for the UK and Ireland. Kate has worked in professional services organisations for more than 19 years, supporting multinational clients in managing their internationally mobile workforces. Kate has advised clients with operations worldwide and across a variety of industries, including technology, mining, FMCG, life sciences, E&C and professional services. 


    Kate has worked with multinational clients on aligning talent with global mobility strategy, developing and implementing mobility programmes, and designing expatriate compensation structures, including living wage methodology. Her projects have run the gamut from stakeholder engagement to global mobility function redesign and outsourcing to technology implementation. 


    Kate also designed and delivers Mercer Learning’s Global Mobility training courses for specialists at the advisor, manager and senior manager/director levels. 


    She holds a Bachelor of Arts (with honours) in history and English literature from the University of Melbourne in Australia and a graduate diploma in human resource management and industrial relations from RMIT University, also in Melbourne. Kate has lived and worked in Australia, Ireland and the UK.

    Gordon is a partner and Leader of Mercer’s Career business in Canada, where he is a member of the Mercer Canada Leadership Team.


    Gordon consults across many aspects of the Career business and has extensive experience advising boards of directors and senior management on the design of total rewards and talent management programmes that align and engage people and teams to achieve superior business results.


    Gordon first joined Mercer in 2000 and has been based in both Canada and the US. His consulting experience covers a broad spectrum of industries, with clients ranging from pre-IPO start-ups to global Fortune 100 companies. He also spent more than two years as the Vice President of Global Compensation for a Canadian multinational organisation before rejoining Mercer in his present leadership role in 2013.


    Gordon holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario in Canada and a bachelor’s degree in commerce (with great distinction) from McGill University in Montreal.

    Lewis is a partner and Career Business Leader for Mercer Singapore. Voted a Top 101 Global Employee Engagement Influencer, he is a regular contributor to publications such as the Harvard Business Review and Talent Quarterly and a speaker in the areas of people science, HR data, employee engagement and leadership. 


    In his commercial work, Lewis leads a team of social scientists, engineers and consultants to help clients and customers implement data-driven talent, leadership and employee engagement programmes to improve organisational performance. 


    Lewis has supported the development of several organisation and HR capabilities programmes, including a leading role in the development of the national HR Skills Framework in Singapore. He has deep expertise in making HR programmes relevant for C-level executives in global companies as well as facilitating senior leadership teams to help them unlock leadership effectiveness.


    Lewis is chartered by the British Psychological Society (BPS) as an Occupational Psychologist. He graduated from the University of Nottingham in the UK with an Master of Science in occupational psychology and a Bachelor of Science (with first-class honours) in psychology and cognitive neuroscience. Lewis is also qualified by the British Psychological Society to use both ability tests and personality questionnaires to assess talent.

    With 10 years of background in Organizational Development, knowing the various HR subsystems and conducting trainings and workshops for HR leaders and teams, focusing on the development and training of engagement management, action plans, performance management and competencies.

    Patrick is a Principal based in Frankfurt. He leads the industries and networking team in Mercers European Career business servicing clients by combining industry specific services and research with networking activities. He is also responsible for Mercer | Comptryx in the region and leads the High Tech sector for Mercer in Europe.


    Patrick is focused on data backed decision making helping HR and the business to leverage workforce metrics data to discuss their impact on labor cost, location strategies, demographic profile and hiring/turnover trends. Furthermore he is passionate about how companies attract and reward scarce digital talent. 


    Patrick holds a master degree in civil engineering from the Technical University of Darmstadt. Prior joining Mercer in June 2015 Patrick held various roles in other HR consultancies. During his 15 years in HR consulting Patrick has performed a wide range of work in the area of rewards.

    Global Mobility Practice Leader, Central Europe


    Ulrike is a partner at Mercer and the firm‘s Global Mobility Practice Lead for Central Europe. She joined Mercer in 2013. Ulrike advises multinational clients across various industries on global mobility topics, such as the review and design of mobility policies and processes, mobility technology solutions, and expatriate data. Ulrike is based in Hamburg.


    With more than 25 years of professional experience, Ulrike is a seasoned global mobility expert and has worked as a consultant in professional services organisations (Big4) and in global mobility roles in multinational corporations (FMCG, pharma and real estate). Her consultancy focuses on both expatriate compensation design and global mobility policies.


    Ulrike has worked with multinational clients to deliver projects in the areas of global mobility program design, policy segmentation, process analysis tools, benchmarking and technology implementation.

    Chris is a senior partner at Mercer providing workforce and HR transformation services to leading clients in all markets.


    With close to 30 years of consulting experience, Chris has worked with major organisations in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors in Africa, Asia, Europe and the US. He has extensive experience advising on delivering business performance improvement through organisational change enabled by aligned people management programmes and effective leadership and management.


    Chris’s consulting experience covers a broad range of industries, including government, financial services, pharmaceutical, retail, transportation, telecommunication and utilities. His private-sector clients are typically Global 500 companies.


    Prior to joining Mercer in 2008, Chris was responsible for workforce reform, employee relations and reward for 500,000 employees in the UK Civil Service, where we worked closely with ministers, senior officials, trade unions and leaders from other parts of the public sector.

    Bill Johnston is the Mercer Indonesia President and Country Corporate Officer for Marsh & McLennan Indonesia. He has over 25 years of experience in the Financial Services & Consulting Industries. Bill has lived in Asia for the last 18 years, where he has held various senior level positions including CEO, Director in Consulting, and CDO.


    Bill is a strong customer centric business leader with a proven track record in driving revenue, profits and value. He knows the Indonesian market, has lived in Indonesia for 8 years, speaks Bahasa Indonesia and has proven success in stabilizing and growing local businesses. In addition to developing and implementing future focused organization designs and people strategies, he has developed innovative health and wealth Solutions.


    He is known for building sustainable businesses that transcend leadership changes. He also has experience in M&A from due diligence to deal completion to integration. Bill's experience cuts across many sectors with focus in financial services, energy and natural resources, technology, retail and high net worth segments.

  • Shintaro Kitano

    Senior Principal, Global Client Manager and Leader of MCS Health/Wealth, Tokyo


    Shintaro has led many projects, ranging from actuarial valuation, plan design, M&A due diligence and post-merger integrations and communication strategy support as well as financial wellness. He is also a frequent speaker at external seminars, as well as writing articles to professional publications. 


    Shintaro has also lead to develop and market global pension solution while at Wealth consulting business in Japan, providing support to Japanese multinationals to execute better governance of their balance sheet pension risks.


    Prior to joining Mercer in 2007, Shintaro worked at Watson Wyatt (now Willis Towers Watson) in the UK, where he was involved in various valuations, ALM and plan design projects.


    He graduated from the Imperial College, London with an MSci in mathematics. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries. 

  • Catherine Li

    Catherine Li

    CEO China


    Based in Beijing, Catherine Li is the CEO for Mercer China and CCO for MMC China. 


    In her 18 years with Mercer, Catherine has taken various leadership positions in managing health, retirement, investment, and HR consulting businesses. In addition, she has vast experience in consulting for large corporate clients in both US and China, especially in the financial and insurance industries.


    Prior to joining Mercer, Catherine worked as a consultant for a health insurance company in US, and as a finance manager with a large SOE in Beijing.


    Catherine received a MBA and a MPH (Master in Public Health) degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, a MA in marketing and a BA in accounting from Beijing Technology & Business University.

  • Vincci Loo

    Vincci Loo

    Senior People Science Specialist 


    Vincci is a market lead for Mercer’s People Science consulting practice in the Asia-Pacific region. In this capacity, she is responsible for driving new solutions to business problems and supporting the development of HR programmes in the region. 


    Since joining Mercer, Vincci has led and managed employee experience programmes for a number of large multinational companies in the hospitality, energy, manufacturing and telecommunications industries. She has broad exposure to a variety of human capital work, including talent assessment, compensation and rewards, organisation culture, onboarding and exit, and leadership development. Vincci brings a significant range of analytical skills and has a strong understanding of social science research and solution design. Her ability to draw insights from real data has helped organisation leaders prioritise key business issues and performance gaps. 


    Vincci holds a Bachelor of Science (with honours) in psychology from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is also a Hogan Assessment-certified coach who specialises in assessing workplace personality for talent and performance prediction.

    Nishant Mahajan

    Executive Remuneration Lead, ASEAN


    Nishant Mahajan leads Mercer’s Executive Remuneration Practice in ASEAN and he is also the leader for Growth Markets of Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar and Brunei. Additionally, he sits on the Remuneration Committee of Suntory Pepsico Vietnam.


    Nishant has over 16 years of people strategy and remuneration consulting experience and is primarily responsible for helping ASEAN based companies, both publicly and privately owned,  get the maximum return on their people and compensation spend. As part of his portfolio of clients, he has advised a large conglomerate undergoing digital transformation on redesigning pay programmes to support and drive the change, as well as a leading telecommunication company looking to incentivize its key personnel to maximize value leading up to an IPO.


    Nishant regularly publishes thought leadership papers and blogs on areas including executive pay, performance management and pay equality. He also works with the Singapore Institute of Directors as a member of the Board Diversity & Appointments Committee as well as a professional development adviser, developing and running programmes aimed at training Board Directors on effectively executing their Remuneration and Nominating Committee responsibilities.


    Prior to joining Mercer Nishant held senior executive and reward advisory roles in London with leading consulting firms, serving Boards and Remuneration Committees for UK and EU mid-market clients. He also led the international TMT sector verticals and has advised multiple organisations from start-up to growth phases on issues relating to pay and incentives, including transaction and IPO advisory work.


    Nishant holds an  M.B.A. from the  University of Hull, United Kingdom.

  • Jean Martin

    Jean Martin

    Global Product Leader, Global Business Solutions


    Jean is presently Mercer’s Global Product Leader for GBS & Career (Talent Management). In this position, she is responsible for the success of all products and product innovation within Mercer.


    Jean serves as the face of the Talent Value Proposition, representing the Corporate Executive Board (CEB)’s “Talent Management story” at all industry and trade shows, public relations, and authorship opportunities. 


    Prior to joining Mercer, Jean worked for Gartner and CEB, where she spent 22 years building businesses focused on innovations in HR skills, process and technology. She also has an advanced background in analytics, econometrics and machine learning and is applying those actively to modernise Mercer’s extensive array of products and solutions for the future of work.


    Previously, Jean worked in public policy in the White House for President Bill Clinton and for Housing & Urban Development Secretary Andrew Cuomo as a Presidential Management Fellow.

    JD Mitchell

    Senior Associate, Career Business


    JD is a senior associate in Mercer’s Career business, where he serves as a global account manager to multinational organisations headquartered in North America and Europe. He specialises in compensation and total rewards, and he works with both publically traded and privately held organisations from a variety of industries. JD joined Mercer in 2015.


    In his role, JD has supported organisations with their total reward strategies, benefits benchmarking and workforce metrics. He works with a diverse group of global clients to ensure they have the data and resources they need to develop and implement comprehensive policies. He has previously presented on Mercer’s annual Global Talent Trends Report and at multiple conferences focused on diversity, equity and inclusion.


    JD received an MBA from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ball State University, both in the US. Prior to joining Mercer, he served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ethiopia from 2011 to 2013.

    Darryl Parrant has over 20 years of academic, corporate HR and consulting experience and currently leads Mercer’s Career business in Hong Kong. He has particular experience working with government, not for profit, education sectors, as well as the life sciences and financial services industries.


    Darryl partners with c-suite leaders and Boards to better position their future talent for success and is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors. His key expertise relates to driving the people agenda, talent strategy, transformation, executive leadership and succession planning - aligning to business outcomes to drive sustainable growth. Darryl is an expert on the new world of work, with over 50 keynotes and publications. He works with businesses to help shape their thinking and organizational readiness for the digital future.


    Darryl has worked on both large and small scale organization and transformation projects including global rollouts and several HCM technology implementations; which included change management and communications support. He has lead business and digital transformation projects and provided advisory and training to global and HR leaders to ensure alignment and buy-in for successful implementation and adoption. Darryl focuses on the behavioral change aspects and the importance of a growth mindset with an inclusive leadership culture with a value based approach.


    He started his career in academia back in his home country of New Zealand, where his research and teaching focused more on cognitive psychology, change and leadership behavior. He has lived or worked in NZ, Korea, Singapore, and Hong Kong and delivered projects in over 14 different countries. Darryl also established his own group of companies and has worked for global HR consulting firms.

Being the first sales employee of the organization, Anirban has played a pivotal role in creating new avenues for business growth. His ingenuity and creativity in navigating relationships and understanding the decision-makers’ needs have helped Mercer | Mettl strengthen its position through strategic account acquisitions both in India as well as across the globe. He brings value gained through years of in-depth and hands-on experience which has bolstered the complete Mercer | Mettl ecosystem by strategically strengthening the functioning of core teams like marketing, product, and technology.     Heather is a partner and Category Leader for Compensation and Reward Products in Mercer’s Career business. Having joined Mercer in 2011, she currently manages a portfolio of products and teams that offer compensation decision and management data as well as technology solutions for Fortune 100/500 clients.


    Over the course of her 15 years in technology, in which she began as a software UI developer, Heather has launched many products and services, and she has managed sales teams and strategic accounts, traveling extensively within Asia. Her experience selling to and managing clients led to her passion for designing products that create great user experiences. Heather has a Bachelor of Engineering in computer engineering from the University of Michigan, a Master of Science in computer science from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School in the US.

    Michelle is a principal and Mercer’s UK Diversity, Inclusion and Analytics Lead, based in London. She created and leads the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) client offering for the UK and currently advises Mercer UK’s Executive Leadership Team on their internal D&I strategy. She works with a wide range of clients, helping organisations achieve a talent advantage through people. 


    Working with UK-based and multinational clients, Michelle helps establish D&I strategies underpinned by tailored solutions, using analytics to identify the most impactful levers of change. She advises her clients on how to break through the inertia and drive progress with their diversity initiatives, compare D&I strategies with best practices and conduct gender pay audits to identify potential areas of risk.


    Through her expertise in Workforce planning and analytics, Michelle helps companies make informed, impactful and strategic decisions on critical roles and skills. Her external labour market analysis building models help identify suitable locations for setting up or transferring business functions. Michelle also delivers education and learning workshops on how to make the most of these tools.


    In addition, Michelle advises multinational clients on talent strategy, reviewing and designing approaches to performance management to shift the process from a tick-box activity to one that inspires performance. She has worked with a range of clients in the higher education, consumer products, financial services, technology, engineering, manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.


    Michelle received a Master of Science in human resource management from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Master of Philosophy in social and developmental psychology from the University of Cambridge. She is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

    Mansee has 17 years of experience in Human Resources in industry and consulting, with large conglomerates and world class organisations. Prior to Mercer, Mansee worked with Infosys BPO as an internal consultant  with the HR effectiveness team. She has also worked with the Tatas, was exposed to plant HR and  HRBP  and performance management COE roles.

    Puneet is a Senior Partner and the leader of Mercer’s Career business for the International region covering Asia Pacific, Europe, Middle East, Africa & Latin America. During his more than 20 years of consulting experience, Puneet has provided advice to leading local and multinational organizations across more than 25 countries in Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa.


    Puneet has worked extensively in areas of talent management, HR transformation, rewards strategy, variable pay design, broad-banding and job evaluation across industries. He has also advised organizations on HR audits, managing people issues in mergers and acquisitions, and compensation outsourcing.


    Puneet is an experienced facilitator and instructional designer and designs and delivers  HR workshops and training for clients. Prior to joining Mercer, he worked with another global consulting firm where he headed their broad based rewards practice for South & East Asia. Puneet has also worked with ABN AMRO Bank in UAE where he was the Head of HR for their Consumer and Private Banking Business

    Most recently, Amy has acted as the North American Solution Consultant for Mercer Workforce Transition, a groundbreaking outplacement and candidate care solution.


    Amy has extensive knowledge in the areas of human resources structure and process redesign, with more than 10 years of operational and consulting experience in process development, business case development and data analysis. 


    Amy has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Kansas in the US.

    Alexander Ugaz is responsible for the Multinational Clients portfolio, he leads the M&A practice in Mexico, as well as is the responsible for Mercer Monterrey’s office. Besides, he leads the Women@Mercer Global Initiative, within Latin America. He has more than 18 years of professional experience, 10 of which working in strategy and operations consulting, strategic planning, as well as M&A transactions; and 8 years working in the corporate world.


    Alexander lead multiple consulting projects, defining commercial and supply chain strategies, as well as technology initiatives; coordinating multifunctional and multicultural teams, in the following industries: consumer goods, industrial products, construction, marketing, telecommunications, and energy.


    Alexander has an Industrial Engineering degree from Lima University (Peru) and an MBA focused in Corporate Entrepreneurship from Babson College (Massachusetts – United States).

    With more than 20 years’ experience, Dana develops marketing communication strategies for clients to enhance employee engagement and embrace change.


    Having worked for the Australian government and corporate organizations, Dana develops the communication plan according to the audience, taking a holistic view and will initially look at the overall objectives of a project before identifying new strategies, roadblocks and opportunities.


    Dana has extensive knowledge on the different requirements of clients in the region, and how to amend the client’s message to suit their target audience from when she previously managed a PR agency in Singapore servicing clients throughout SE Asia

  • Sebastian Vazquez

    Sebastian Vazquez

    Senior Associate of the Multinational Client Segment and Talent Practice Leader for Latin America.


    He has worked for Mercer since 2009 at its offices in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Peru and is now based in Chile.


    In his years of experience in Mercer, Sebastian has worked with +150 clients in more than +300 local and regional projects including: engagement surveys, cultural diagnostic and transformation, competency design, leadership assessment, employee value proposition, career paths, performance management, succession planning, job description and valuation, compensation competitiveness, long-term incentives, HR transformation, strategic workforce planning, among others.


    Previously, he worked as Project Leader at Arvato Services, a multinational company from the contact center industry.


    Sebastian holds a degree in Business Administration at the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina). He is a certified coach in the Hogan leadership evaluation methodology and has an MBA from the Universidad del Pacífico (Peru). He has extensive experience teaching courses at Mercer for clients throughout the region, on topics related to human capital.

    David is a Principal and Senior Reward Consultant in London. In this capacity he helps clients across Europe maximise the value from their reward budget by increasing the efficiency, effectiveness and sophistication of their compensation programmes.


    David's consulting work focuses on the alignment of human resource and compensation systems to support the attainment of business objectives. In this role, he helps clients develop grading structures, design and implement total remuneration strategies and supporting compensation programmes (and flexible benefit frameworks). He also helps clients determine appropriate reward governance structures and assess the impact on their function design. He is particularly interested in employee engagement (usually with respect to rewards) and advising on how companies can improve manager understanding and employee appreciation of the organisation's reward frameworks.


    A significant amount of David's time has been directed towards merger and acquisition projects, and supporting clients with their post-completion harmonisation (including consultation). David advises clients on the impact of evolving employment regulation, and helps develop innovative and practical solutions to this ever-changing minefield. David has a number of overseas clients with whom he helps unravel the complexities of UK employment practice.


    David joined Mercer in 1998 having spent 12 years in corporate HR roles, principally in the IT/telecomm sector and subcontract services. Prior to his existing role David was a regional leader of the Information Product Solutions business, co-ordinating Mercer's suite of surveys and analytical offerings across the UK and Ireland and subsequently led Mercer's European compensation management business.

    Lara Zschau has been with Mercer | Promerit since 2019 and is based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Previously she studied International Business at the ESB Business School Reutlingen (B.Sc.) and the University of Mainz (M.A.) with a focus on Human Resource Management and Organization. Her international experience includes amongst others semesters abroad in Argentina and Sweden.


    Before joining Mercer | Promerit, Lara gained experience primarily in the transport and logistics industry and supported multiple international transformation projects in a change management consultancy.
