Milan Taylor

Partner, Energy Leader

Milan has over ten years of experience working across the energy industry delivering consulting work and solutions across a range of Human Capital areas (including Reward, Executive Compensation, Future of Work & Flexible Benefits). Milan founded and facilitates a number of established Mercer Energy Forums and Networks (Mercer Africa Energy Forum, Mercer Middle East Energy Forum, Mercer Asia Pac Energy Forum, Mercer European Energy HR Strategy Network and European Renewables Network). These peer-to-peer networks meet at regular intervals throughout the year connecting HR industry leaders to discuss topical issues and develop pragmatic insights.

Milan is the energy lead for Mercer’s New Shape of Work — working with senior leadership teams in organisations across the energy value chain towards better understanding the Human Capital impact of the energy transition & transformation, digitalisation, artificial intelligence and robotics.

Milan is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Taskforce on Preparing for the Future of Work for Oil and Gas.

In this role, Ross provides clients with a global, strategic perspective to help them solve their health, wealth and career objectives.

John Derse, located in Charlotte, NC, is a Senior Partner and leads Mercer’s Healthcare Provider Industry Practice. His consulting is in the area of People Strategy which includes strategy, alignment/change management and workforce analytics and rewards providing clients with "end to end" strategic advice concerning the design, implementation and operation of human capital and the HR function.  

John’s clients include some of the largest health systems and academic medical centres in the South and Midwest. John has also partnered with organisations and been involved in innovative work for a broad range of clients across various industries, including financial services, consumer products, retail, manufacturing and distribution, entertainment. David devises strategies and advises clients in retail on a variety of topics including total rewards strategy and organisation design for developing a compelling employee experience. Aside from workforce rewards, his experience includes business restructuring and transformation for global organisations, benefits effectiveness assessment, and organisation process optimisation, to name some areas. Prior to joining Mercer, David served in various corporate roles including Director of Global Rewards and Mobility for a multi-national omni-channel retail company and was the Rewards and Mobility Leader for a global food ingredient manufacturer.
