Keletjo Chiloane
Keletjo brings over 15 years’ experience across various sectors in management consulting, deal advisory and metal products manufacturing.
She has leveraged her experience and knowledge of engineering to provide advice to organisations in various industries, ranging from organisational design and cost optimization projects to valuations, commercial analysis and feasibility studies.
She is currently a Principal within Mercer Africa Career consulting where she leads and manages projects in various areas including employee rewards, job evaluation and architecture, engagement surveys and flexible working across multiple industries.
Keletjo holds a BSc.Eng Metallurgical and Materials and an MEng. Industrial from University of Witwatersrand. She has also completed an MBA from the Graduate School of Business (University of Cape Town)
Employee Experience
Led employee engagement survey projects. Responsibilities included identifying critical dimensions relevant for the client to establishing action plans and implementation roadmaps based on the results of the survey
Job evaluations
- Completed job evaluations for the multiple clients in various industries including technologies, insurance, pharmaceuticals, amongst others. This included interviewing leaders in order to better understand the functions they manage , analysing the jobs within these functions and evaluating the jobs using Mercer’s IPE methodology
- Conducted training on IPE for various clients with the objective to ensure that attendees understand the methodology and are able to apply in their own environments
Flexible working
- Completed flexible working project for an and gas organisation and supported on various other similar projects. This included the assessment of jobs against the various dimensions of work as well as identifying enablers for the implementation of flexible working practices
Reward strategy
- Developed a reward strategy for a state owned pension fund. The project included job levelling, agreeing on reward principles as well as the stakeholder management
Organisational model review
- Led the technical and projects stream in an organisation model review project for a global mining client. The objective of the project was to align the operational structure of various support functions to the strategy of the organization.
Post-implementation reviews and cost optimisations
- Capital projects post Implementation review on a variety of projects for a freight rail and port services company in South Africa with a view to assess benefit realization on projects and also develop key lessons learnt
