Interesting moments from the interview:

  • A talent shortage

"A talent shortage, from my perspective, implies a short-term issue and one that can be relatively easily corrected. But I think a talent shift implies a longer-term change that alters how one approaches a topic. What we're seeing is the demand for talents, especially tech talent, continues despite the economic headwinds mentioned earlier."
  • Making significant changes in the auto industry

"The auto industry will have to make significant changes in how they compensate people, and the kind of benefits they provide and kind of perks they provide to compete against the tech industry."
  •  Industry transformation

"From an energy perspective, I think what I hear both in the U.S. and globally from energy firms is they still struggle to get the digital talent they need in their organizations as they, as industry transform, and it's not just the attraction piece it's. Also, when they get digital skill sets in, they are struggling to keep them in the organization for a period. It's a real challenge."
