As we look forward to another year of growth and potential, I'm also reflecting on the challenges and success that we have achieved in 2022. Recently, the global investment market has undergone tremendous changes.

Geopolitical and regional situation has made the market more complex and volatile. Many major economies are facing a pattern of high inflation and low growth. With the widening interest rate gap between major markets, the economy is still facing some challenges.

Over the years PCS has experienced ups and downs in the economic cycle. Short-term fluctuations in the market and various financial and economic challenges. However, we have continued to expand, excel, and innovate as we are committed to provide the best-in-class insurance solution for our business partners and valuable clients.

Looking forward to 2023, we are all geared up for another year of challenges. We are sure there is always opportunities and potential as we stay inspired and committed. Lastly, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

Hello, everyone. Greetings from PCS Singapore. Looking back, 2022 had been an eventful year. The war in Ukraine and the COVID pandemic continues to be top of mind. On the business front, we have witnessed a rapid rise in interest rates coupled with slower growth and high inflation.

With the increased volatilities and drawdown in both equities and fixed income markets, we are seeing continued momentum of our clients and partners diligently using wealth planning solutions as a risk management tool.

Looking ahead to 2023, the outlook can only be described as complex and uncertain. However, we continue to see the growing demand and planning requirements for both legacy and intergenerational wealth transfer. As the last two years have shown, PCS is an important strength and stability during times of immense change and challenge.

I'm proud of how pieces have stepped up for our clients and partners. And I know we will continue to do so. Hello, everybody. Life is a full circle. And we experienced several claims linked to COVID last year. Whilst those lives cannot be replaced, the clients have created an everlasting legacy and given their family the much needed liquidity, which they set out to do in the first place.

It was comforting to see that all claims were paid in a timely manner. And this restored the confidence in those people who were adverse to life insurance in general. It is a testament to what we do as insurance fulfilled long-term estate planning needs for our clients.

Considering the current market trends, I'm cautiously optimistic. Going into the new year, the high interest rate environment will have a positive impact to our industry at large. Our existing clients will enjoy higher crediting rates in their policies and new clients will have access to more competitively priced products to meet their needs for life insurance planning.

This year gave us the opportunity to reconnect with our valuable clients and esteemed business partners in person. It is vital to stay close to our clients. In the same breath, it is important to cherish the relationship with our families and loved ones.
