Mexico Increases Daily Minimum Wages for 2019

Mexico's daily minimum wage increased to MXP $102.68 on 1 Jan 2018, up from MXP $88.36 in 2018.

The National Commission on Minimum Wages (CONSAMI) also announced the establishment of a new geographic area — the Free Zone of the North Border — comprising cities located near the US border. The 2019 daily minimum wage payable in this free zone is higher — at MXP $176.72.
