Helen Murdoch joined Mercer in June 2021 as the Sales and Commercial Acceleration Leader. She joined Mercer from MLC where she was the General Manager, Corporate Superannuation. Helen had also previously worked at Mercer from 2011 to 2018 in roles across product and investments. Prior to this, Helen gained over 25 years of experience working at a range of financial institutions including Russell Investment Group, Sovereign Investment Advisors, Principal Group, BT Funds Management and Bankers Trust Investment Bank.

In her role, Helen is accountable for ensuring that we support our clients’ needs in whatever way we can. A leader in her field, Helen has deep knowledge of the market and connects our capabilities across our business to deliver for our clients.

In addition, Helen is passionate about improving financial literacy, particularly for women, and previously led advocacy work through our Women@Mercer BRG. Helen is a member of the Pacific Leadership Team based in our Sydney office.

Helen holds a Master of Applied Finance from the University of Technology, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of New South Wales. She holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association.
