Overview

Turmoil in the financial markets around the world and an uncertain economic outlook have created apprehension among employers, adding further un-welcome uncertainty to retirement planning. The effects of August 2011 have significant consequences for plan funding, coming so soon after the market lows experienced in 2009.  With more material deficits and cash funding pressure on the way, there are a number of issues for sponsors to grapple with, including financial planning, investment issues, risk and governance programs.

Please join a number of our Mercer experts for a webcast on Wednesday, September 27 at 2pm (EDT) to discuss Mercer's views on the deeper effects of the uncertain global economic climate.
