In order to gauge the progress on these developments, Mercer has recently conducted a snapshot survey to provide a current view on how organizations are changing their executive compensation policies and incentive plan practices. Sixty-four financial services organizations from Europe, North America and Asia Pacific participated in this survey which includes segmented results for banks and insurance companies. A key issue that is emerging is the "unlevel playing field" among competitors in different markets worldwide due to differences in regulatory frameworks.
