Mercer’s global Responsible Investment (RI) business unit was formed in 2004 to provide advice to investment fiduciaries and prac titioners on all aspects of RI. We are working with a growin g number of institutional investors to develop investment approaches that integrate environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) issues within a fiduciary framework. There is a lot happening.

Our business unit continues to grow and to engage with the industry globally. We are an active member of the Asian, Australian, Canadian, European, UK and US social investment industry associations, a member of the Council of Institutional Investors (CII), and a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment.
