Roger has built a wealth of experience over the last 25 years within the pensions and financial services sector - the last 14 years of which have been within the MMC Group where he has held a number of important roles. Roger has been the UK head for the private clients division, and worked in a consulting capacity with small and large corporate clients to deliver both technical advice and strategic value to clients’ needs.

 

The unprecedented shifts in the pensions sector in recent years (which have impacted heavily on regulatory and marketplace fundamentals), have resulted in Roger taking the lead role in Mercer’s pension provider research and market relationships function. This role gives him a detailed insight into the real-world issues that are challenging pensions decision-makers, coupled with extensive first-hand experience of what companies actually want to achieve with their schemes.
