Trustees now have a new statutory duty to have
knowledge and understanding of the law
relating to pensions and trusts, general funding
and investment principles; and to become
conversant with their scheme documentation. No
grace period will be granted for existing trustees
– they must have attained the required standard
from day one.
Our new course programme is
designed to help provide answers to the challenges
faced by trustees as a result of the Act as they
prepare themselves for the new requirements.
