Christopher Johnson has been appointed client manager at Mercer, where he will be responsible for managing a portfolio of multinational clients. He is based in London.
Mr Johnson has joined from the Cabinet Office where
he was Director, Employment responsible for employee relations, performance and
reward for the UK Civil Service. Prior to working at the Cabinet Office,
he had a 20-year career as a human capital consultant, managing client
relationships in both the US and the UK.
Alan Whalley, Mercer’s UK chief executive,

well-connected professional of Chris's calibre. He brings a wide range of
account management and client consulting skills to the firm. One of our
strategic aims in 2008 is to expand Mercer’s client management team to enhance

that lead the market."
Additionally, Megen Metzger has joined Mercer’s
London team as a client manager. Ms Metzger has transferred from Mercer’s Los
Angeles office, where she spent more than seven years at Mercer as a client
manager.
Mr Whalley continued: “Megen has not only led and
delivered our global services for major clients; she has also worked closely
with the global client development practice to develop training programmes and
share intellectual capital with the client managers of our global clients. Her
move to the UK, in the role of client manager, will help Mercer accelerate the
development of our services to global clients in Europe.”
