Directly Ahead: Projecting Tomorrow’s Labor Market

As you may know, Mercer refers to a company’s employee pool as their Internal Labor Market (ILM). Similar to the overall economy, talent in the ILM is constantly moving – new hires are brought in, promotions (and demotions) are handed out, employee experience is broadened through lateral moves and transfers, and talent is lost through resignations and retirements.
