As organizations in Asia are requiring HR to play a more active role in helping to achieve business goals, many HR professionals are being requested to actively contribute to setting and implementing the business strategy. HR professionals are also being called upon to play the role of strategic advisor to the business.
How can HR play an active role in helping to implement business strategy? Through developing congruent HR and Human Capital (HC) strategies that align business needs to HR, HR can directly contribute to business success. Acquiring the knowledge and applying the know-how to make this happen have become an imperative for HR professionals in Asia.
In this special workshop, we explore how HR can translate the business strategy into HR action.
“Business managers and leaders often share that they are unclear of how HR can add value to the business. Further, many explain that when working with HR they are not sure of what to ask for or how to determine their HC requirements over the short-medium-long term period. Conversely, many HR professionals we work with struggle to translate and align HR practices to business needs. This program will help to demystify the process of what HR needs to do to create a plan that is directly linked to what the business requires.” - Brenda Wilson, Business Leader, Human Capital, Hong Kong.
