A new look at global DC: New opportunities, lessons
learned
In many regions, the DC plan has become the primary retirement program,
shifting much of the risk of providing retirement income from the plan
sponsor to employees. However, a hands-off approach to managing DC plans
across the globe may mean you’ll miss opportunities to align the DC
programs with corporate objectives and manage DC vendors. This could
expose the organization to operational and compliance risk. In this
session, client speakers will share case studies of global DC plan
management.
Speakers: Barbara Marder (Mercer) along
with Mark Breer, Microsoft Corporation and Daniel McCarthy, Bloomberg
L.P.

solutions (with or without pre-packaged alpha) to online pension buyout
auctions. In this session we’ll help you sort through these approaches and
suggest what might be right for your organization’s pension plans. We’ll
also suggest financial management governance practices to manage and
monitor these new approaches to managing risk.
