Mercer introduces 2006 Global HR Transformation Study

Last updated: 1 July 2008

Mercer is pleased to share with you our second global study on the state of HR transformation. The new 2006 study updates our 2003 findings and includes responses from nearly 1,400 organizations in Asia, Australia, Europe,  Latin America, New Zealand and North America (Canada and the US).

Our study reveals that the HR function continues to evolve and transform around the world. In fact, 50 percent of respondents say they are currently in the midst of a transformation process, while another 12 percent have completed an HR transformation within the past year and still another 10 percent plan to begin HR transformation efforts within the next year.

HR leaders are striving – with varying degrees of success – to have their functions contribute strategically and add value to the business. At the same time, they must continue to enhance the vital administrative aspects of HR. Our 2006 study gives you the details.
