We are glad to report that we had an overwhelming response to the survey. We received over 1,500 responses from 33 countries.
We have provided an executive summary of the findings. Key themes identified from the survey include the following:
-
Many DC plan sponsors now see their roles as "facilitators", moving away from a more paternalistic approach in the past
-
Automation features such as enrolment, rebalancing and escalation are growing in prevalence (where enabled by legislation) as are lifecycle/lifestyle funds as default investment options
-
Multinationals are moving towards managing certain elements of their DC plans more centrally at headquarters
-
Many companies are still lacking robust and fully documented DC governance policies
-
Sponsors around the world are considering a number of enhancements to their DC plans over the next 12 to 24 months
An additional opportunity to learn about the survey results will be via webcasts we will be conducting in November. To register for one or more of these, please visit our registration page.
