These databases can be customised to provide regional data by:
- Industry: consumer goods, durable, energy, finance/banking, hi-tech, insurance, non-durable, retail/wholesale, services or for all data excluding financial services.
- Size: assets, employee numbers, PC score, revenue.
- Scope of the role: geographic responsibility, level in organisation, executive board membership, PC score, remuneration.
- Specific peer groups of named companies from the database (minimum 10 companies).

Position & functions
Mercer's survey includes approximately 40 executive benchmark positions at board level and the next two levels of management. The analysis includes comparisons between board and non-board positions at the same level for the following functions:

What do you receive?
- A hard copy of the complete results, showing lower quartile, median, upper quartile and average for each element of total direct remuneration for each executive role, and an overview of key benefits
- The report will include:
- a full analysis of short and long-term incentive scheme design, including levels of award made in the previous year and identification of key changes in the last 12 months;
- commentary on the differences across Europe on issues such as share ownership guidelines, and other corporate governance issues; and,
- information on benefit schemes including pension, private medical insurance and company cars.
- A comprehensive executive summary of the market with commentary on current emerging practices and trends from Mercer's specialist Executive Remuneration consultants.
- Access to the Mercer Executive Remuneration database online through Mercer PayMonitor®, narrowing the scope to particular industry segments, peer group, geographic locations, or size of business relevant to your analysis. NB PayMonitor® access will not be available in Denmark).

This online tool enables you to compare your data to the Pan-European databases (over 450 companies), where you can narrow the scope to particular industries or size of business and level of role responsibility relevant to your analysis. You can also purchase specific company per cuts for an additional EUR 600 each. These survey databases are only available to MERG survey members.
- Where you provide information for a role based in another European country, you can purchase a total compensation (market pricing) report for a discounted fee of EUR 500.
